3 Ways To Get Rid Of A Depressed Mood.

Share

I don’t want to do anything right now, it feels awful. At times, everyone feels depressed right?

Here are a few things that are actually effective in fixing a depressed mood;

Take A Walk

First of all take a walk for a minute or 5. When you are walking, you will feel relaxed because what you get worried about in your head is solved by your body. It is very simple but very easy to forget.

when you are feeling depressed, going out will be quite annoying and you can create something for that which is walking around the house or around the office if you are at work, relaxing in the park, walking to a convenience store to buy a drink.

Write Down Your Feelings.

Write down what you are thinking about on a piece of paper.

I was thinking like this….this way you can objectively see your thoughts.

You can also write in your notebook or publish it as a blog.

It is very interesting to publish it as a blog because there is a reaction from people with the same problem.

Eat Something Delicious.

Humans have physiological desires which include; desire to sleep, libido and appetite and when you feel depressed, if you meet any of these physiological desires, you get to feel better.

Among the above desires, the easiest to satisfy is the desire to eat. Eat a delicious food or try whatever you think is delicious.

In Conclusion

How was it?

Majority of you might have thought that you can’t do that because you are depressed and you are not feeling like doing anything.

From my point of view, there might not be an immediate change but it will improve bit by bit.

I only talked about ways that have tried and were effective.

I hope your pain will be a little lighter.

Leave a comment on some ways that you tried and were effective.

When I feel down I do 4 things in given order: work out hard (home workout, body weight driven), shower, eat good food and sleep.

When I’m down, I’ll either go for a very long bicycle ride, eat a lot or just turn the lights off and put on some music. It really helps but when the problem is bigger I choose to talk it out with people am close with.
